A Prophetic Vision for Women - The Meeting Table With Jesus.
This Saturday gone, I was at a womens breakfast at a local church on the Gold Coast. I was there supporting my sister in law and ministry partner: Leah Kahika. She had felt very lead to preach from Psalm 23 on “The Table”.
“You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You have anointed and refreshed my head with oil;
My cup overflows.”PSALM 23:6 [amp]
As she spoke the Lord began to show me a vision, the vision was of a generous and large, round table. The Table was full, at every seat around the table sat a woman who was alert, attentive and wholly focussed on Jesus, there was a great sense of purpose, kingdom purpose. Each of these women were on fire for the assignment and the call that had been entrusted to them- Laser focussed and attentive to the voice and face of Christ. There was such a sense of deep and very unified purpose, as if there was this kinship understanding of the weight and importance of the table and an appreciation for each of the assignments at the table. And a very clear, collective, laser-sharp focus on Jesus. Not a single one broke their gaze from Him: though each was uniformly aware of the other.
The Coming of Christ the Conqueror
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse, and He who was riding it is called Faithful and True (trustworthy, loyal, incorruptible, steady), and in righteousness He judges and wages war [on the rebellious nations]. 12 His eyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many royal crowns; and He has a name inscribed [on Him] which no one knows or understands except Himself. 13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in [a]blood, and His name is called The Word of God. 14 And the armies of heaven, dressed in fine linen, [dazzling] white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 From His mouth comes a sharp sword (His word) with which He may strike down the nations, and He will [b]rule them with a rod of iron; and He will tread the wine press of the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty [in judgment of the rebellious world]. 16 And on His robe and on His thigh He has a name inscribed,
“KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.”
REVELATION 19:11-16 [ AMP]
As I observed what could only be described as a meeting with Jesus: I observed and knew that Jesus was there. The impression in my spirit was the imagery John describes in revelation 19, I observed as the fiery sword of the word of God came forth to the centrepiece of the table, it was a releasing and an entrusting and with it came one of the many crowns that He had carried. Again a releasing and an clear assignment had been given. Meanwhile the Lord was saying ‘I am entrusting my women with the fire of my word.’ He was entrusting them here on earth now. He was releasing an anointing and an appointment, a compulsion to preach the word. And with it an authority from Jesus himself.
This is an encouragement to the women who feel unseen in their call. You have heard, and you have known the whisper and compelling of the Lord to minister but it seems as if at every turn there has been difficulty and stagnant progress, circumstances and people have stoppered you, squashed you even for some to the point that disappointment has become a recurring theme in your ministry. You have even wondered at why the Lord would call you if He would not release His way to that calling. You have often wondered if you should give in or give up and some have even questioned His call to you. This has left you frustrated and defeated, yet still ever determined in your obedience.
This is your heavenly release: this is your call and invitation to Jesus’ meeting at the table of The Lord. He is saying: ‘Get ready and prepare: let the word be ready in your heart, let it be ready in your hand, and ready in your mouth.’ And do not be dismayed or fret, keep your eyes affixed to Jesus, laser focussed and attentive to His leading. He says ‘ watch as I am going to use you, watch as I am going to release you’.
In Jesus’ name.
Lord,
I pray for the woman who feels unseen in Her ministry call; even now I pray you would come and be with her in the waiting. I pray that as you draw near, that you would stir up the gift that is within her. I pray that her faith would express itself in obedience and that as she prepares you would bring into her world Godly women and men, to accompany her on the journey of obedience. I call in the brothers and the sisters to champion and encourage the gift within her. Speak, Lord into her heart. Holy Spirit move powerfully over her, I rebuke the lie of disappointment and rejection and I call upon your heavenly authority to release and break free and to send her forth into your work in the mighty name of Jesus.
Amen.
